Winter fun at Mimi and Pop Pop's house

It's never a dull moment at the grandparents. Here's Bree in the super cool new wagon -- a few minutes before it flipped on the VERY muddy hill. We were running through the water behind the wagon and doing some serious splashing. Our first snowperson of the winter.

A fun night at Liam's house (Bree's Lucy School buddy)

We had a great time decorating gingerbread houses and playing like crazy with kids of all ages at Liam's house in the Villages of Urbana. Bree did an awesome job eating candy, licking the icing, and decorating her house. She met a new friend James and hung with her buds Liam, Asher, and Teagan. Kit enjoyed new toys and checking out the 12 or so kids running all over the place. There literally was enough candy to decorate the house we were all sitting in!! We're stuffed and tired. What a fun night!!
Look at my boy sitting up and giving Mama a look! What a sweet, lovely boy!!

Tucson trip

We headed to Tucson Nov 7-13 so that Mom/Hilari could attend the US Green Building Council's Greenbuild Expo and meet with some sustainability directors in AZ. We spent the week at the Varnadore's in Tucson and got lots of family time in. The kids did awesome!! Here are pics from the plane and our arrival in Tucson.

Kit's 6 mos appt.

OK - here are the digits . . .
Weight: 19 lbs 7 oz. (75%)
Height: 28-1/2" (95%)
Head circumference: 43.3 cm
He got 4 shots! including flu shot and H1N1. Bree got the H1N1 too. Quick and loud tears from Kit. Bree wondered why his face got so red! We headed shopping right after followed by an ice cream cone for Bree. Both kids were out by 6:15. Bree was actually asleep before 6pm. Poor kiddos.

Pumpkin Patch with Mimi and Grandma Great (and Mom and Kit)

It just isn't Fall without a visit to the pumpkin patch. We went to Summer's Farm today and had a great time. Bree's all time fave - the hoppy thing - the giant orange bouncy cushion - kind of trampoline-like. Very cool!!

Dad gets 2nd (again) . . .

Dad was pretty bummed that his Mudd Butt chili didn't get the win this year. He added like 6 or more chilis and worked really hard, even adding secret ingrediants the night he was cooking it. Maybe it was the name? Mom said his chili was really terrific.

Either way, we had an awesome time. I love Willow so much. Quade was even fun this time. We played Guitar Hero, ate lots of cupcakes, and I got to play with Willow's Barbies!!
